With the aim to follow the evolution of technology and offer a product always new and well-advanced, 3DRewind Rome in 2011 is enriched with new recreational and didactics experiences that will make the journey through the history of Ancient Rome more fascinating and appealing.

 

Rewind QuizRediscover your past of Ancient Roman - from December 2010

Visitors will be welcomed by our staff, dressed up in ancient Roman clothes, which will give them the audio guides (8 languages available: English, Italian, Spanish, German, French, Japanese, Russian and Chinese) and a short quiz with multiple choice questions regarding history, customs, monuments of Ancient Rome that will allow them access to a fine reproduction of Emperor Commodus’s tunnel. Visitors will be helped with the answers with provided aids that they can touch or see inside the room. There will be also available a version for children (8-12 years) which allows easy learning of basic Roman history with the help of games and images.

 

 

Julius CaesarJulius Caesar – from December 2010

After watching the movie in 3D, visitors will be welcomed at the underground floor by the virtual guide "Julius Caesar". This special virtual guide, which represents the great Roman dictator interacts with the public in English and Italian. For other languages, our staff will be available in order to translate dialogues between customers and Julius Caesar. Julius Caesar will announce winners of the quiz which was attended at the beginning of the tour. On the floor below, those who answered correctly to most of the questions will wear the wreath and dress as a Senator, Emperor, Gladiator, Legionnaire, Empress, Maid, Lady, etc.. receiving a photo as a souvenir. Whoever answered correctly to all questions will also have the chance to get immediately a valuable prize.

 

The chariot race at Circus Maximus – from February 2011

Thanks to a scale reconstruction of the famous Circus Maximus, visitors will undertake a test of speed and skill, to make their cart win. All of them will have to show their knowledge of Rome during 310 AD. (Questions are related to what they have learned through watching the movie in 3D). The game will last about 5 minutes. The rules of the game will be available on the screens in 8 languages. Winners will receive a 3DRewind Rome™ gadget.

Touchscreen gameAnachronisms of Ancient Rome - December 2010

Using a touch screen, visitors can achieve “Roman citizenship" through a game with 3 levels (Citizen, Senator, Emperor), improving their knowledge of Ancient Rome. At the end of the educational game, visitors can add their name or nick name, their nationality and their e-mail, and receive, in their mail box, a certificate of "Citizen of Rome".

GladiatorsGladiators’ Arts – February 2011

A reproduction of a gladiator armour will be shown and, using a multilingual video, you will know the different weapons, fighting techniques and more about gladiators and their art.
